It was a wonderful experience. The boat rides with Mariachis was amazing. They come onto your boat from another boat and they sing for very little money. There is food and it is ordered and delivered by someone that comes onto your boat mid-ride. The people will try to sell you stuff and you can haggle the price down quite a bit. Be adamant about it and don't give in easily.

Great experience. It's ever so relaxing and my guide was very knowledgeable. For the price of 500mx peso to rent an entire boat for an hour, very very affordable. Especially if you have a group.

Not sure when they open, but I was there mid-morning and there were no customers so I didn't want to get on alone with an unknown male going to an unknown place. So, I left. The boats look nice but that is as far as I got, just to view.

We got a nice ride with a lot of options. We chose the 'standard route' which took about 2 hours. Our 'boat captain' was very polite and informative. Along the way you'll see many people selling a lot of stuff like beer, food and even live mariachis. Very unique one in a lifetime experience. Need to go to the bathroom? No problem. Just take a pause at one of the 'w.c.' houses - pay 5 pesos and you're good to go. Sometimes our boat hit another boat with the captain not being very alert, causing a big impact. Dangerious if you're with small children as they can easily fall into the water (which was very dirty at the location we went). Great experience!
