Very interesting and so much history! Few of the descriptions were in English and could be improved because so many visitors don't master Spanish.

House is well preserved, it doesn't say whether the furniture belonged to the family but the description doesn't fit what you are looking at, it serves it's purpose of giving you an idea of what the place looked like. There's info about how San Miguel de Allende was founded and info on Allende's life. There was a free play about Allende's trial but we didn't stay for it. I guess they asked for a cooperation at the end just like every other tour guide in the city.

Could have more investment given the important historical spot. The building is really pretty. Free entrance on Sundays for Mexicans and Mexico residents.

Nice museum that gives a brief history of one of the heroes of independence of Mexico. This was the home of Ignacio Allende one the initial leaders of the movement of Mexican Independence. The museum is neatly organized in terms of layout except its missing a comprehensive organization of information in english. If you do not have knowledge in Mexican history you'll find it slightly hard to understand the significance of this place. I still encourage anyone to come here, just do a little research beforehand online of Ignacio Allende and you'll have a higher appreciation of this museum/home.
