A beautiful museum with spectacular collection. They did close down an hour earlier without telling me and locked me in the place for 50mins. I was able to find a friendly custodian worker who let me out after. Can’t wait to go back, maybe get there a little sooner next time

The murals by Orozco are absolutely unbelievable. The building is also fascinating.
What a wonderful and inspirational place. This use to be an orphanage and through time it has turned into a museum. I loved the peacefulness I felt here and there are many nooks and hallways to get lost in. Once you get into the installations, the art work and displays can only be appreciated in person. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to get some Mexican culture and history. It cost 70 pesos to get in but you can enter for free on Tuesdays!
