My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful time with Edgardo. The whole day with him was so much fun. Since the hot springs was full due to covid, and he showed us a beautiful local waterfall hike with lots of bouldering and diving off rocks. He was extremely careful about covid and took all necessary procations to make us feel safe. In the afternoon, he recommended us another local hike to explore by ourselves which was beautiful as well. The best part of the trip was definitely Edgardo’s sense of humour and energy! I would 1000% recommend his services :)

We were guided by Edgardo and Alonso on different days on a 3 day 2 night trip in the park. Both guides were very knowledgeable and trailered the trekking to our needs, and that if our two tweens. Food was great, fruit picking at the ranch was a bonus, and Edgardo always had cold beer in the cooler for me. Thanks for sharing Baja with 4 Alaskans.

Wow. If you are in Baja California Sur and don't get up with Edgardo you are missing out. His location is easy to get to with a rental car and has a spectacular view on the way to Santiago. Edgardo was able to do a last minute day trip for me and answered almost immediately by e-mail. Edgardo knows these mountains like the back of his hands and will ensure you have a wonderful time. Edgardo provided lunch which was delicious and even threw in a cold beer. Once we got done hiking and swimming, we went back and made home made quesadillas and mango margaritas from scratch. I never felt rushed and felt like I was just hanging out with a friend. He also speaks great English.

We had a fabulous overnight hike with Edgardo! We didn't have a car but that wasn't a problem as everything was promptly and professional handled by Baja Sierra Adventures. The owner Edgardo was very hospitable, friendly, and an excellent guide. We swam in the rivers that run through the canyon while learning about the history of the geography and local people. Our camp was near a small homestead that welcomed us and even taught us how to make homemade tortillas. The food was heavenly. We had a campfire, slept under the stars and had a morning mountain bike before another canyon trek. It was a top highlight on our trip and one I would definitely recommend. Ask for Edgardo!

My daughter and I went on an overnight hike with Edgardo's assistant Emanuel. First of all, Edgardo was very patient helping us set up an adventure for me and my daughter that would fit our needs both as far as what we wanted to do (backpacking) and dietary (vegetarian). Emanuel was a very kind and cheerful guide. Like Edgardo, he had great English and a deep knowledge and respect of the beautiful mountains. We swam in three different oases and logged over 10 miles of hiking. We also ate very well. I completely recommend Edgardo. You will have an exciting adventure that takes advantage of the beautiful nature while respecting this amazing ecosystem.

Edgardo was our guide for a trip across the mountains of Baja. I couldn't have been more impressed! He was entertaining, fun, enthusiastic, and a great chef. First time I've had pizza while backpacking. Would definitely do it again and have suggested the trip to many friends.
