We had a wonderful stay at Casa Paraiso! Due to a mix-up with our reservation, we were upgraded to an apartment at the second floor with absolutely wonderful ocean views. The apartment was clean, big, comfortable and very well ventilated (a plus since AC is very rare in Xcalak due to electricity issues). Benjamin and Oscar were very welcoming and attentive hosts. Breakfast was delicious!

The perfect semi-off-the-grid place to vacation. Incredible views, a great place to relax and do nothing, and the most incredible reef to explore if you dig snorkeling/diving. Would highly recommend if you want to visit Mexico without any of the tourist nonsense.
We had a great time here in Xcalak and especially in Casa Paraiso. We stayed here for one week. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. The oceanview from the balcony is fantastic! There are very comfortable reclining chairs and also a hammock on the balcony from where you can enjoy the view. And if you wake up in the morning you can look outside and see the caribbean sea:) The beach belonging to the house is also very nice and clean. There is snorkel gear and also kayaks and stand up paddles available. Benjamin the manager is a very nice host, very attentive and courteous. He was always there to help us and give us some tips. He is also a very good cook and surprised us every morning with a different breakfast. He even cooked dinner for us twice and that was unbelievably good!! Xcalak is a nice and very laid-back town. It‘s a perfect place to relax and to enjoy the beauty of the national reef park by snorkeling or scuba diving. We recommend you to staying in Casa Paraiso and enjoy this beautiful place. Thank you Benjamin for making our stay memorable and hopefully we can come back some time!!
