It's a good airline. Cheap. The checking area it's a bit tight, the atmosphere it's warm very quickly as soon as you go in there to check in your bag. The planes seats are a bit stiff, after a few hours sitting down you start to notice how uncomfortable the seats are.

I had trouble making an international departure using Volaris. It is actually easy to do but it was completely confounding my first time. First, there are two areas to get a boarding pass. Domestic to the left of security and international to the right. There is a counter with staff but that is for bag check only. To get a boarding pass you have to use a terminal for the correct destination (domestic or international). You have to kind of guess your way through the terminal software since it is not well written. There are lots of Volaris employees milling about but they don't go out of there way to help. Long story short I spent a half hour in line when it actually take less than a minute to get the boarding pass.

It’s a very bad airline. Save yourself money & book with United. This was my last minute flight change. They have only one guy working checking bags what is going on here?!

Is zero stars an option? The worst airline I have ever traveled on by far. Not allowed one carry on and one personal item. I travel so I DO NOT have to check any bags but they refused to let me take my small carry on backpack on the flight even though it was literally my only bag and forced me to check it in without even giving me an explanation. Also very rude and snappy front desk and flight attendants. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I tried checking in online; it failed. Got to the airport early and tried checking in at machine; it took 20 minutes and failed. I was told to go to the counter to check-in; I waited in line for an hour and flight check-in closed. I missed my flight to see my friends in Denver. I paid 110 USD to change the flight to 2 days later. Volaris, please fix your mobile site for check in, fix you machines for passport scanning, and hire more front desk attendents
