I have been wanting to visit this sleepy but high end resort 40 min south of Loreto for such a long time. I loved the quality of food, the rooms, as well as the way everything is kept. The golf course is second to none, and the spa was great. There was even entertainment at night. My only con is the daily construction noise that seems will be going on for at least the next 6 months. I will for sure be back. Not the most kids friendly resort but great for couples and golf get aways. There is nothing else around so I would recommend the all inclusive package.

Absolutely beautiful resort far from anything. Amazing staff, food, and amenities. The spa was exceptional. Make sure to take advantage of the thermal hydrotherapy offered free with any service. The therapist are amazing and the attendants are very attentive and professional. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars qnd buy into the timeshare was because we got a presentation package to see if we wanted a time share. We thought we just came into more than enough money to make it our new vacation home. However they sold me a 6 day all inclusive package for our anniversary and were told we could have a beautiful bath prepared for us after arrival . When we arrived it was shower only two very small beds. Please be careful! It was miserable sleeping apart or trying to cram on one bed. I lost sleep on vacation. Also they thought we would go from not getting what we were offered to not expect much with a good deal and then were made to sound we couldn't afford it because I can't commit to a business that does a bait and switch. I wanted to buy a package but they acted like it was my fault for expecting one bed for our anniversary. Not even a bigger room or the tub we were offered but one bed for a couple. I even gave them the chance to give us what we asked for, for more money but they were very rude and pushy about just buying without even knowing what it is like staying in a normal sized bed as a 6'1 men with his girlfriend room we could sleep comfortably in. Hopefully we can buy in soon but it's hard to deal with dishonesty. After the presentation no accommodation was made to give what was offered so I may never return as much as I loved almost everything.

This is rated 5 star by many. Maybe for Loreto but not on a five star standard. It is a very nice place. Rooms are nice and most have a very nice view. Staff throughout are amazing and treat you well. Drinks don’t come back quickly Evan after pre tipping. Always very friendly but slow to come back. 4 people working the beach bar and only 20-25 people on the beach. Should be better service. All very enjoyable. We did not do a time share presentation but talked to many that did. All said that they were insulted by sales staff. Name calling is not ok. Overall to stay a good value but the sale part is a downer. Good to know that even though your at the buffet, you can order off a menu. Since there is minimal restaurant choices knowing of this menu make it feel like another restaurant. We did golf and really enjoyed it. An amazing course. What I liked about it the most was it was an easy going no pressure course while being upper end. If you golf don’t miss this course.

This is an incredible location between the desert hills and the bay. The resort is very nice with great service and food. The water is cold when we visit in the spring, but we always see cool fish and dolphins.

It's very nice, service is excellent but they do have you hostage. I had to ask for flat pillows because all the pillows in the room are 2' high. Massages are 200 per hour...did they forget they are in Mexico where you can normally get massages for 90 minutes for 50. Nobody is that good. The hotel charges 120 round trip to take a Taxi to the Escondido marina, which is 15 minutes away. Even though the marina has only 1 restaurant, it is excellent food and drink which of course Villa del Palmer doesn't tell you. No other shops at marina. Taxi's anywhere are 60 each way if using the hotel and 42 if you find your own. NO WIFI IN ROOM WHICH REALLY UPSET ME and they charge extra to bring in a router. For the price you are paying, I find this ridiculous!

The second half of the resort is being constructed and so there is limited food choices, the staff was limited due to covid and service times were slow. On this trip several family members got diarrhea because of the fish we believe. Will be a nice place when finished because of its location.

Our concierge Carlos couldn't have been more help. Cesar at Casa Mia makes the best drinks. I couldn't find a single thing to complain about in our 6 day stay. Everyone remembered our names and all the details of our plans. Always offering above and beyond service.

The golf course is absolutely fantastic. It is the only TCP course in Mexico. On the 17th hole which is incredible we watched Whales breach while we teeing off. The resort is well worth a look see.
