The atmosphere was very festive and lively. It's mostly a port where you can get a ferry ride or a chartered boat to a few islands in Cancun or go on an excursion. I noticed their beach was pretty packed and with the music playing pretty loud everyone looked to be having a good time. It looks like a great place to hang out.

Stay away from this company, seriously its better to swim to Isla Mujeres than to take this ferry. We bought return ticket and was told that the ferry back is every half an hour. Well we came at 1545 and was told that the next ferry to the hotel zone (where we boarded) is only at 1800.. We went to have coffee, came back at 1735 and was told the boat is already full, and next one is at 1900..!! Instead of bringing another ship at 18 to take everyone with a ticket, they forced people to wait another hour, untill the ship will finish another round trip. Crazy. The ship itslef is old and dirty. Don't board this ferry!

We bought round trip tickets to leave from Playa Caracol, but on the return trip, the ferry didn’t stop at Caracol or Tortugas. They dropped us off way up by the Embarcadero and we had to find our own way home.

Ferry ride was nice. We were charged 100 pesos for parking. While returning we were made to wait for sometime to board the 5pm ferry. Overall good experience.
