This place was incredible! The best part of my trip to Tulum. If you want fresh fish, delicious and unique sushi rolls...This place is a must. Even the chicken fried rice was delicious. Great value and service for Tulum. The staff was incredible! If you go - make sure you ask for JC!

Truly an amazing sushi experience. The ambiance could use some additions but the food and the staff are amazing. If you go, as for Camilla! She will treat you like family and give you the best recommendations. Just listen! The chefs dinner is one of a kind. Enjoy!

We liked the food, got a big board of sushi that tasted good, not outstanding though. We liked a fusion of cuisines, Japanese with Mexican, very interesting. The margarita with passion fruit was also yum. The waitress was nice and even brought us a bug spray to protect ourselves from mosquitos. We would give a place 5 stars but none of the staff was wearing a mask. We asked the waiter to make sure the chef was wearing a mask while cooking for us and she agreed. It's all outdoors and we were wearing masks most of the time, but there was not much distancing with the waitress, and it is still against the rules and not cool.

This place is absolutely amazing. The sushi has a Mexican twist and it’s done subtly and to perfection. The owner is very thoughtful and full of life. The food came fast and the ambiance was perfect. Thank you!!

Best sushi ever. Truly the most underrated restaurant. The staff is incredible and the drinks may be the best in all of Tulum. This is our first stop in Tulum every trip and will continue to be!!

It’s not worth taking the sharing dish for two (125). Which on their website is advertised as 99...The waitress didn’t ask how much I wanted to give tip and just added a huge amount of money to my bill. Then didn’t show me how much she is charging in total, which was very unfair.

Camila makes the experience at Ukami a “must try” when in Tulum. The sushi is killer and the sashimi is bomb! Go here and let the chef take care you with the chefs recommendation plate...DO NOT order the menu. Order the chefs plate. The jalapeño mezcal margarita is also stellar!

Aweful. Where to start. Tourists beware. Salmon overcooked and dry as a bone and clearly reheated and not fresh. Arbitrary 20% tip put on your bill. If you dare to go to this place that serves sort of food, then tell them ahead not to add tip to the bill as you will decide. And then, the waitress tried to shortchange me when I paid. They also said they had no drinks menu but "I could check at the bar" which essentially means you end up order from your table because you're not going to ruin your dinner to go to the bar when there should be a drinks menu.... and surprise, they overcharge on drinks. Tell them before you sit that you must have ad drinks menu. They must have one. Owner is welcoming but in that sleazy way that is clearly insincere and more a street hustler trying to get you in. He doesn't care about you at all except to try and upsell you "the best shrimp taco in Mexico"... which was expensive and disgustingly poor.
