An absolutely fantastic place. The team are tremendous and the property is a dream. I loved the location on the very edge of the jungle and away from the very busy & noisy parts of Tulum. It's the perfect place to relax!

Stayed for 4 nights during our visit to Tulum and would absolutely stay here again. Very secluded compared to most hotels in the area. Wonderful daily breakfast with some of the best food we had on the entire trip. Private yoga session was relaxing and challenging. Nothing beat listening to the waves as we fell asleep each night. Mara was an excellent host and provided great recommendations on the area. Room was very clean. Appreciative of their commitment to sustainability.
Olas is the best place on the beach road, period. If you're looking for a quiet, laid back, away-from-the-crowds experience run by an incredible team of folks, this place is for you. Amazing daily breakfasts are something to look forward to every day. Both the owners and staff are such great people. I've been half a dozen times and wouldn't stay anywhere else.
Olas Tulum is the most relaxing spot in Tulum, hands down. Located at the end of the beach road, bordering the nature preserve, it is beautiful, private, extremely well maintained, has an incredible chef, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the entire experience is peaceful and calm. I would recommend Olas Tulum to anyone who is looking for an experience unlike any other in Tulum, one that is calm, peaceful and relaxing.
Absolutely beautiful place and a fantastic experience. Would love to go back. Jimmy, Clo and Pepe looked after our group incredibly well. The breakfasts every day were exceptional, as was everything else we ate there. Strongly recommend the tour of Sian Ka’an Biosphere which they organised for us too. Jimmy knows the place like the back of his hand and his restaurant recommendations were flawless. It’s such a serene location too, considering how crazy Tulum Playa can be, the quiet and peace at Olas is hugely valuable.
Where to begin?! If you've been along the playa you know how much of a hot mess it can be going from one end to the other. You also know how packed with people it can be. If you are looking for tranquility, a private beach that you only share with a handful of hotel guests with the convenience of being on the hotel row, the. Olas is the place for you. They are a hotel that thrives on being eco friendly which is a nice change of pace. In other words, there aren't air conditioners in the rooms. Quite frankly, we didn't need it with the fresh air blowing from the beach. But there is a fan in the room if needed. I felt so bougie staying here! Freenando is an amazing cook that lives on the property and is in charge of making breakfast (complimentary) 8-10am daily. Day one was fresh fruit, granola and huevos rancheros. We are vegan so we just didn't have the egg and any dairy if it wasn't already siding a dairy free alternative was substituted for us. There is also made to order lunch available until 3. Can you say more guacamole? And 10/10 recommend the vegan ceviche, even if you’re not vegan. There is a sun tan deck and yoga deck available. You can also have someone come in for massages with the ocean in the background amongst other treatments. 10/10 recommend if you're like us, wanting that nice life but aren't wanting to party hard unless we want to. The rooms are beautiful and Maria and Abby are also very helpful.
We LOVED Olas. A hidden gem at the end of a now busy Tulum, alongside Sian Kaan, amazing service, food and accommodations. Almost a Tulum B&B, feels like the way it was 10 years ago. Back soon, Olas \u003c3
A warm place which feels like home. You will never leave again.
