Worth it! Wasn't sure what to expect in this area where it can be overpriced and over hyped. But Heartwood delivered! Every bite was delicious, creative and well executed. Staff was on point- they know their menu backward and forward, and were super attentive without ever really knowing they were there. They were always keeping an eye on where you were at- empty plate, empty drink, extra napkin... They are a flurry of activity all working in concert. Also the most beautiful restaurant kitchen I've ever seen. Yes it's pricey- but I'd do it all over again and again!

The staff is so friendly here and eager to explain everything. The food was absolutely amazing. The flavors were very different and fresh making you crave more. First time having grouper ceviche but it was delicious. The only thing that I would have recommended is that the octopus be grilled a little longer because the webbed part between the tentacles was a little chewy/gooey.

After hearing reserving a table here required booking one a month in advance, we were pretty stocked to be able to get a walk-in table the night we went. First off the staff here are class, they take time to explain to us the menu in detail and patient with the questions we had about it. The food is amazing, I had the steak which was tender and seasoned just right. The empanadas I order as a starter were very tasty. The overall feel of the place reminded me of a trendy spot in Brooklyn by the beach.

Making Moments That Matter

Love the energy and food here. Even during a rainstorm, you can see the staff here enjoy themselves and make it a nice experience. The grilled prawns were amazing and the grilled eggplant was super!!! Dinner for two, appetizer, 2 main courses, a side, 2 cocktails and dessert about 200 USD including tip (which I realized is always included). Worth it and yes cash only.

If you - Are vegetarian/vegan - Value being able to hear the person next to you - Want Mexican food - Don’t want to pay cash only Don’t go to Hartwood. But if you - love seafood - loud environments - a younger crowd Go to Hartwood They should not have told us they have vegetarian options when the whole menu is fish and meat except one salad and one small entree. \u200d️
