Thirsty Duo Smith

Typically we would say this place is always awesome. But this particular night the service was slow. Our daughter ordered the ribeye and lobster 950 pesos. The lobster came out after her meal was finished. She has for some melted butter for the lobster because it was dry. 5 minutes later he brings out butter squares. Expensive meal, that was not worth it. We also had a molcejate . It’s for 2. It was OK not great. We won’t be back for awhile. Took 15 minutes to get our bill. Again, this a place we visit at least once a month. Maybe it was a off night.

Food was ok, I was hoping something better because of the reviews. Food took 1hour and 20 minutes to be ready, we were really mad because people around who arrived later were getting their food and we weren’t (we were only 4 people). When we asked the waiter he said we just needed to wait. Only good thing was the attention from Jorge Alberto Ruiz, I hope he gets promoted soon, because he is the only reason I’m putting 3 stars instead of 2. Hope I find more people like him.

Excellent Arranchera/Flank Steak and 3 taco combo with flavorful and tender Carne Asada, juicy chicken, and the best Chorizo! Fresh and tasty guacamole also. Service was good and efficient. They have nightly entertainers outside the restaurant that work for tips. Good prices and overall great value and experience.

Food was just ok. Perhaps if you are used to quality meats where you live this place will somehow resemble it when tired of eating seafood or street food. The issue is the prices are misleading so be sure to have them weigh your steak and tell you the cost upfront because its waaaay over priced and double then whats listed on the menu! They left the word \per\ out: 400 pesos, 300 gram steak. Should read \400 pesos \Per\ 300 grams of steak

Terrible service and especially the manager. We were mislead on the price of a meal by the waiter and when it was time to pay it was double the price that we were told. The manager decided to threatened to call the police instead of making the situation better, no other resolution to this problem was offered. The food was fine just expect to wait around an hour for your food.
