I was very fortunate a number of years ago to be introduced to Dr. Roberto and his wife Rosario by a friend who took me to The Blue House. While there I met Irena who had been living there for over four years. She was so bright and for me a great joy to speak with the many times I went there to visit her and Dr. Roberto. It was apparent to me how well all their patients were cared for by the staff and Dr. Roberto and Rosario as if they were part of their family. I saw so many times how Irena and the other patients enjoyed the times they were taken outside to sit in the nice back garden. Dr. Roberto knew how much I cared for Irena and he called me one day so that I was there when she passed. The tears in the family's eyes and the staff and the words of Dr. Roberto that she was part of his family affirmed for me how much they loved and cared for her. The care and love The Blue House offers far exceeds what I have seen in other similar nursing homes and why for me it rates my five stars.

I have personally known 5 patients in care of Dr. Roberto and his wife, Rosario. This home specializes in mid-and advanced level dementia care, and while they are expert in this area, what really sets them aside is the family-like atmosphere they create, and the loving care they give on an individualized basis.
