1. INSURANCE WARNING: Europacar will not accept your insurance regardless of your personal car insurance, insurance purchased on line at time of rental, or your credit card insurance. You have to purchase directly from Europacar at the rental counter. The car was 67 total but I paid 5x the amount of insurance 167. I paid online 36 for full coverage insurance (Alliance refunded). Agent said I would get a refund of 47 but I've yet to see it back on my card. 2. If you rent a car on line like a Dodge Charger (or similar) your similar will not be like it. Europa gave me a Chevy Cavalier 14000 USD retail price. Dodge Charger retail price 30,000. 3. The staff was very nice, fast and efficient. The car was clean and in working condition. They're only doing what they're trained to say and do.

Great customer service, very helpful advice and we were well looked after. The car we got was great. It had some minor scratches that were all pointed out to us upfront. Everyone was very patient with us too. The 11000 PESOS!!! (Not USD)Were refunded without any issue. We ended up not making it back to the rental in the city (they close at 5pm on saturdays) by a few minutes but were able to return the car at the airport at no extra cost. Again, customer service at the airport was also great. Can highly reccommend

So, they don't speak English there, which can be a problem if you only speak basic Spanish! Now when it comes to car renting, well it took us 2h to get a car rented! First it started with the problem of our car registration not allowing us to enter Mexico state, than the cars provided did not had valid mot (certificate of car being safe to use on road) than the replacement car given, developed a fault within 5min of driving. Finally we have endup with a car upgrade, although car was not cleaned inside and had no radio.... Overall the experience was very... Interesting. All ended well, tho if I haven't had a native speaker with me I can't imagine getting things sorted! Also they offered us extra insurance.... For the 3x the price of the car rental! Sick!
