Just a heads up. The City Council has decided to block off the entire central square with yellow tape and police. For good measure they have also covered the fence with plastic to prevent people from seeing the lower half of the tree. All the tourist shops are still open though. On a positive note there is an excellent nieve (fruit juice & ice) shop.

I wouldn't give yourself more than 15 minutes for this stop... they had it so blocked off we couldn't even get close enough to feel its energy or even touch its branches. It was very beautiful and thinking of all the history it went through was amazing, but not something that takes very much time.

Do to covid 19 it was close to the public. But you can still take a pictures from the outside. Evethough you are out in the street you can manage to see it really well.
