We did our advanced open water with Ben. Great experience! He's a great instructor! The dives were amazing and Ben applied all of our skills. Highly recommend Cozumel Dive School! Quick shout out to the crew of the Anita, the dive boat. They took great care of us!

I obtained my PADI Open Water Diver certification here at Cozumel Dive School and it was everything I could have asked for and more. The Open Water Diver is the standard \introductory\ Scuba diving certification, which approves you to dive up to 60ft/18m in similar or better conditions to those you trained in. The course runs three days. The first day you spend practicing a bunch of skills in the pool, like getting your buoyancy right and recovering your regulator. The second and third days are open water dives among Cozumel's beautiful coral reefs - there's really no better place in the world to introduce yourself to Scuba diving. I was so pleased with the experience that after my course was over I returned for two additional \fun dives\ the following day. Throughout the course and the additional dives we saw astounding coral formations, spotted eagle rays, loggerhead sea turtles, and every kind of tropical fish you could possibly imagine. The class sizes are fairly small (I was the only person in my class!) which means lots of individual attention from your instructors. The school also runs \internships\ for people training to be divemasters or instructors, so these folks will sometimes help out with the Open Water Diver course as well. Booking the course and other logistics were all straightforward; no issues there. Be aware that as part of the PADI Open Water Diver training you have to complete a short exam before your course begins, so I recommend booking a few weeks in advance so you'll have time to do this. (The school will tell you exactly what you need to do and give you access to the study materials.) Anyways, Cozumel is the best place in the world to train to be a Scuba diver, and this is the best dive school in Cozumel. Need I say more?

Best trip ever! Got our AOW with Ben! Highly recommend him! Great explanations and easy to understand instructions. Night dive he found 7 octopus, eagle ray, 3 squid and countless eels. So awesome! Don't go anywhere else!
