The owner is doing great things with this place and that sort of creativity is exactly what my family and I travel for. San Miguel de Allende is fortunate to have this!

This is a fun little venue. Maybe around 40 seats, very cozy and down home. The folks running it are very nice. It's a ways outside the center of town and might be hard for some to find. We took a taxi and got right to the place, maybe 7 minutes from the center of town.

Caught New Yorker, Jamie Brickhouse, performing his one man show. What a great little space! The neighborhood is a bit rough, so call for a car rather than walk about after a show.. but definitely go!!

Me Home

I am rating 4 stars because I dont want to lower their rating for something that is not their fault. The times listed on discoversma and on Google maps were wrong so the documentary we came to see was over by the time we arrived. If you want to come here for an event I would suggest calling or visiting the theater's website to double check the event info. Luckily the trip was saved by the delicious coffees at the Cafe Arab'ella on the corner nearby.

I'm inspired by John having a vision that he made a reality and taking action in providing a "shelter" for people looking for a safe haven to share their talents, passions and free to express their most vulnerable moments in a supportive environment with like minded people. I have only experienced open mic night , but I plan to expand into other activities at shelter to include hosting upcoming events at their facilities.

We laughed out loud multiple times at the Geechy Guy comedy show. Got the endorphins going. The best get outta your funk show in town.
