Fantastic conversation with Rabbi Oren, Uriel, and Yonathan!!! Awesome vision!!! It is a beautiful effort and hard work in trying to make this a home for Israelies. Rabbi and wife are in my opinion very flexible regarding observance level, as Chabad is already known for. Incredible dedication from their part. If you are inclined, consider offering to volunteer, and support financially if you can, as they solely rely on the support of donations - that is, no secret stash of funds from headquarters. Very peaceful, we had a hard time getting up to leave. Delicious food. Little Jerusalem in San Cristobal!!! PS: warning, there are two American women, mother daughter team in the area, long blond hair, hippie looking. They are missionaries targeting specifically the Jewish people, watch yourselves.
