Be careful of bicycles that don’t work. Gears were broken (realized when I tried to go uphill) and they were not very accommodative or empathetic.

Rented a scooter for a few hours without any problems. Nice guy who explayed scooter handling. Came with helmets. Nice to explore the island with a scooter.
I was 30 minutes late and they charged me and extra
BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THESE SCAMMERS. We rented bicycles and were provided a lock. When we returned the bikes and lock, the key mysteriously disappeared and they demanded that we pay for a new lock. Clearly the guy running the store was very familiar with this and went as far as turning his pockets inside out to show he didn't take the key and then dramatically threw the lock into the garbage saying it was no good anymore as he had no key. Too bad I didn't google them before renting as I would have seen all the other similar reviews. So sad that there are companies like this when 99.9% of the Mexican companies and people are completely honest and treat their customers with the utmost respect. Lesson learned and thankfully was only a 150 peso lesson. Hopefully this post saves others from the same mistake - hand the key back to them and don't let them retrieve the lock themselves from the basket.
DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! Total scammers! They said we put a scuff on their well used moped and wouldn’t give us our licenses back without us paying 800 pesos. We let them call police and finally have them 700 pesos to be able to leave. We should have taken pics before driving away but didn’t think of it. Lesson learned
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!! they rented us a scooter and was teaching us how to work the scooter. I did exactly what was told to me and the scooter took off and hit the pole. The scooter was not badly damaged. the lights on the bike was the only issue and you could get this fix for about 100 dollars. Well this company wanted 500 dollars. They told us that they did not want Pesos but American US Dollars. Also the Police were involved and they Requested 300 US Dollars. So they wanted a Total of 800 US Dollars. The Police officers are apart of the scam as well. They will take your passport and threaten you with jail time if you do not give them the money. Western Union also have them in the system as a Fraudulent Company. Please DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!! We had to get the US Embassy involved which they too acknowledge that they were scamming us because you pay for insurance when you rent the bike. I REPEAT DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DO NOT RENT. Do not go there. You have been warned, they rented me a scooter with a key that was on its last legs. The key broke through no fault of my own as I put it in my pocket, they demanded that I pay to replace it or they wouldn't give me my ID back. Initially they said it was 500 pesos to replace. When I protested the cost miraculously went down to 300 pesos. Eventually I paid their extortion fee so I wouldn’t have to look at them any more. I will repeat so there is no confusion, they forced me to pay for normal wear and tear on their old, used scooter that had an old, used, worn out key that broke as I put it in my pocket. Beware. Go to one of the larger rental places on the main drag.
