At first I was not happy that Casa Istanbul had closed, it was a favorite of mine. However, I decided to try it out. Now, I like the place. It is a good choice for lighter fare than what is offered in the majority of the restaurants in Oaxaca. The ramen is very tasty with a rich flavorful broth. The rice dishes are good as well.

It is clean and cozy place. The staffs are very polite also foods are tasty and low cost. This SHOYU Ramen is almost same taste in Japan.

The Deo

My friend and I ordered the traditional ramen, and both of us got sick... as in Montezuma’s Revenge sick. I have lived in Oaxaca for almost a year and use Microdyn... I guess there wasn’t enough protection for the ramen. Reviews serve a purpose, please take more care regarding food preparation.
