This is a must if you are in Paseo Montejo or Mérida. The house has such a rich history, and they managed to salvage so many things, that it's like time traveling when you go in. You get to see how people lived during the splendor of Henequén times, and the tour is very well organized to ensure social distancing. If you have watched Downtown Abbey, this is the small Yucatán version of that house. The store also has so many cute souvenirs, it's worth visiting. You can go in the store without going into the museum.

Excellent self guided tour following preplanned pandemic safety and directional guidlines.with Spanish and English explanation placards at each room. Or personal guide. Totally awesome home of history and restored period artifacts. Exquisite , beautiful home, may be the oldest residence in Merida
