This place is magically hanging in the past, right in the middle of Puerto Vallarta. Best to visit during day time; as you pass through the doors, you enter a movie-like scenery, with the most charming Mexican old music, a bar at the far end of the hall and friendly faces. The billiard club members circle a table, as they watch their friends play, the walls are covered in old pictures showing the history of the club. There's a heart warming vibe coming from all the corners, this place is a hidden gem. Go if you want to feel sheltered from the tourist crowd, in a place that feels immediately like home. Don't go if you're looking for modern glam or a party place. This place feels like a sanctuary of old, happy times, when people used to do things together and communication was done with hand-shakes, warm smiles and cheering on your friends. I almost feel guilty to write a review, as it feels like the place would live better if it stays hidden, and my words hardly do it any justice.
