This was one of our favorite ABNB experiences. The host (Miranda) was super helpful and responsive both by phone, messaging and in-person. The room is simply designed, but has many small nice practical amenities (for example, ice cooler to bring to the beach, couple of beach chairs, bath and beach towels, cleaning support, aromatherapy diffusers and handmade oils that she blends...). The bed was comfortable and large. The kitchen had all the necessary items, including a blender, so learning some Mexican recipes was a lot of fun. The shared garden/patio was full of beautiful local plants and we ended up spending a lot of time having long lunches there. Most memorably, we had a travel issue, and Miranda reached out through her personal network to help resolve the issue within hours - we felt were treated as a friend or a community member, rather than a random tourist. Thanks to her, we loved Puerto Morelos and surely will come back for the great community of locals and expats alike. Thanks Miranda!
