I actually loved this port. Plenty of stores, of course. Nice restaurants. Cheap little souvenirs. Unlike some ports that are trying to shove their merchandise in your face, they didn't at this port. Very friendly. We took several pics with some of the gentlemen. I don't know what he had me holding, BUT IT WAS PRETTY COOL. And they were HILARIOUS.

Very good cruise port. This was a very easy process to get off and on the boat. Customs was super easy and very fast. The port has a good selection of tourist shops and restaurants but the prices would be much better in the city. I do like having the option for last minute purchases.

Day 3 of our stop. A really fun place to visit, if you ever get the chance. And yes, this is really how the water looks, sorry Galveston you are my home, but I found a new one. Good shops to wander around, scooters to rent and just go out and explore.
