We are tourists traveling through Puebla on 150 D just around the blue stadium at 1pm where 2 motorcycle police were sitting and soon rode up to us wanting us to pull over. We did and gave the proper Identification that he asked for. As we didn’t speak much Spanish one of the officers made a call and handed the telephone to my husband. The man on the phone spoke English and said that we needed to give the officer 6,000 pesos or we would have to go to police station. We only had 5,000pesos and when handing the money the officer turned his back to traffic so no one could see. Disappointing. Nothing worse than corrupt police officers.
