As a complete beginner, I wanted to go to a school that would be efficient and allow me to get certified as an independent rider. My lessons with Iñigo were both super fun and informational. He is phenomenal teacher and explains the importance of each section of the lesson. All the lessons I had were routed in developing good habits and having enough experience to feel the kite. I was able to progress quickly and look forward to continuing to learn while in New York and back in Mexico. Highly recommend this school for anyone looking to kite in Tulum.

I can’t recommend this kite school enough. If you have a bit of experience in the water but need help with technique they are properly equipped with radios. I actually felt like I was getting a lesson as opposed to just having someone watch me. Cedric got me to a whole new level. The school itself is laid back and the guys running it actually care about your progression. They held my gear for me and connected me to other kiting schools across Mexico. I had been to another more highly rated school down the beach but it was aimed more at newbies. Prokite gave me a much better rate as I had my own gear, not to mention much better instruction. My advice- ignore the reviews of some of the more highly rated schools as they are attached to hotels so ratings are inflated and include those for other activities offered outside of kiting. Had lessons with Iñigo, he is by far the best instructor I've ever had, great attention to detail and precise methodology. I was able to progress quickly (to my amazement!). I've taken lessons before with other schools but nothing compared to the quality Prokite was able to deliver. I highly recommend booking with Prokite and feel confident that I can now start kiting more independently.
Honestly, I went and checked out several other spots in Tulum, and I was so impressed with these guys!! By far the coolest dudes I met while in Tulum. Sedgwick and Iñigo hooked me up! Great instructors to if you’re a beginning. 150% the best spot to go.
I rented equipment with Iñigo & Cedric and it was awesome! They are very profesional and friendly. I needed a bit of time to get used to the conditions here but they gave me great tips to improve my technique. Thank you so much guys for this amazing experience!
