Excellent Jamaican food, but I want to give a huge shout out to the awesome service. The staff here was very friendly and attentive. My food was taking a bit longer than usual and when I inquired about it, I learned that there was a slight technical issue in the kitchen (more of a city issue than the restaurant). Immediately the manager came out to talk to me and apologized even though I was completely fine with it. They also took off a percentage from my bill for the inconvenience without me asking. I mean, this was one of the most genuine customer centric places I’ve been to. Can’t recommend them enough! And the food is excellent too.

I was proud to eat at this black owned business, with a a staff that was second to none on making me feel welcome. The owner is a humble guy, and his team makes a mean jerk! Know that it is not open Sun, Mon, and I believe Tues also closed. Cash only. If I could come here twice a day, even just to hang and enjoy a Red Stripe I would gladly do so.

Very good Jamaican food though a bit pricy. Had the half jerk chicken and the garlic butter butterfly shrimp. Tried to order the bread pudding but they weren't making it that day so ymmv. They don't allow take out.

This place was recommended by a friend who’s visited before. It did not disappoint. The Jerk Chicken has a little more heat than the style I’ve had at home (Los Angeles). Sauce it comes with is delicious. Cole slaw, plantains all great. I was eating every last bit of chicken off the bone. Only minor note is that the coconut rice and beans didn’t taste much like coconut - kind of plain. I know it’s just a side dish, but I expected a little more flavor since everything else was so well spiced. Highly recommend.

We decided to drive over an hour to Rockas from Cancun and we were not disappointed! All of the food was fresh. We ordered the Brown Stew Chicken, plantains, jerk chicken tacos, festival jerk chicken. Everything tasted amazing! So full of flavor. They weren’t doing takeout but they made an exception because we drove so far. The owners and staff were extremely kind and patient. When I return to Mexico, I will definitely return for another meal!
