Great service with great coffee! Recommend if you are a tourist staying in Play Del Carmen.

This place is hit-and-miss. Sometimes the food is great, other times it's mediocre. But because it's always there and we've have pretty good luck with it over the years, we still patronize this restaurant. The pricing is reasonable and the service is reliably good. The menu is extensive as well. The location is a bit out of the way, but that's why we like it. If you're heading to Walmart and hungry, this place is worth a try.

This could be the perfect European-style cafe in Playa Del Carmen, far better than the competition, but they literally charge money for more than three glasses of TAP water. The bathroom sinks are not automatic nor even easy to keep up - something I wouldn't care about normally but not so appealing in the age of Covid. You will need to hold down the taps as you wash your hands. If you don't speak Spanish, while the service will try to be nice and accommodating, they have also been trained to used American-style high pressure restaurant sales tactics. The coffee is delicious for Playa and was the high point of my meal. The ingredients, especially fruits and vegetables, are also *very* fresh, but the cooking itself leaves much to be desired. I thought I struck gold walking into this place but I will now be surprised if I go back while in PDC. Even though I'm staying almost next door. There is too much room for improvement.
