We spent 3 days diving with Bahia Divers and it was a magical time on the reef! My husband did his open water dive certification and I did my first ocean dives (I trained in a quarry) and advanced certification. All I wanted was to see a sea turtle and that happened on my 2nd dive. In total we saw a hawksbill and a green sea turtle and since that was one of my goals we spent some time following them around across the reef. We also saw lots of fish, lobster, and a nurse shark. Mindi is an absolute pleasure to work with and I can't wait until we are able to come back and dive with Bahia Divers again. Maybe next time we will brave the cenotes!

Bahia is the best dive shop on the peninsula. I have been on a lot of dives all over the world and never have I seen such knowledgeable, skilled, and caring instructors as in Bahia. Mindi and her staff are true gems. They make everything so easy and perfect. Thank you to Bahia for the best dive I've ever been on!! #Bahiadivers #padi

We had a blast diving with Mindi, Marcos, and Carlito. Absolutely great crew. Super fun but also professional. Beautiful dives and they have a great shop right on the beach. Highly recommend!

This is an awesome dive shop. Marcos, the owner, is great! He personally took us on a guided trip to the nearby Cenote for a dive I will never forget. He went the extra mile (literally) after the trip and brought my wet swim gear (which I accidentally left in the back of his truck) to my resort before I even knew it was missing. Highly recommend!!

Marcos, Mindi and their crew are my type of dive masters. Laid back and chilled on land but serious and security focused after boarding the boats. All staff including the logistics boss Rafa and el Capitan on my boat was very friendly and nice (there was one French diving instructor who had a bit of an attitude problem but hey, he was French so that doesn't count). I was picked up around 0830am by the dive centre's own minibus and driven to the dive shop, located on Xpu Ha Beach surrounded by several charming beach front cafes and bars. I was assigned to the instructor Jon who was great in all aspects. I started out with a quick refresher dive by the shore followed by two reef dives outside of Playa del Carmen. Small diving group of max four people including the dive master. Total price including transport and all gear was about 90 usd so very reasonable. I came back three days later for two cenote dives with Jon, who's a really cenote and cave pro and enthusiast. It was an AMAZING experience which is not be be missed when in Mexico. Two dives incl transport, gear and lunch set me back 140 usd - which was a bargain for the privilege to have the one to one dives with Jon. I can recommend Bahia Divers to anyone looking for a great diving experience in the Playa del Carmen vicinity. A big thanks to Marcos and John for a great day!
