Just came back from a tour of some old Mayan sites and the Mayan Village and was really impressed. I would normally run a mile from a tour of anywhere but the guide was outstanding and made ancient history relevant and easy to understand. Get out of your all inclusive resort and spend a day finding out what makes Mexico such an interesting and alluring destination in the first place. Also, when you get out and about you get to see the beauty and interesting details of this peninsular that is as big as the island of Ireland!

My wife and I took a guided tour to Ekbalam and rappelled down into a cenote soon thereafter. The sights were incredible, but what made the trip so unique was our guide Rudy. As we drove through the Yucatán peninsula, he taught us so much about the Mayan culture and showed us their villages. Rudy was a great guide and made our day so enjoyable and exciting. Would highly recommended him and Alltournative for your next trip to Mexico.
You need to book a tour with this company. Our guide Mathieu was great, as were the local contacts and staff at out activities. The food at the Mayan restaurant is some of the best I’ve had. The cenote, the visit to Coba, all were great. But the best part was knowing this company is doing something right, in many ways.
Me and 5 of my friends booked alltournative to go visit the Mayan pyramids. Euri was so amazing! She came with great energy! She was very intelligent and she taught us a lot about the Mayan ruins. We went to an amazing underground lake in a cave. She went above and beyond to make us happy and accommodate all of our needs! I will definitely request her if we ever go back to Mexico. We had a once in a lifetime experience that day and we will never forget it!!
We had a full day trip in Maya jungle and Tulum with Cesar and it was just awesome. He knows English like a native and he is so nice. He made our day trip super nice. Very informative; helpful and nice. Highly recommend.
