Small Dive Shop, Big service. My daughter and I went diving with Catherine and Abel while we were staying in Mahahual. This was the second time that I dove with Gypsea Divers and I am happy I did. Their staff has such an appreciation for the beauty of the reef and truly care about keeping the reef healthy for all to enjoy. We were well taken care of and felt quite safe during our dive. The highlight of our dive was a Mako Shark eating a Sword Fish, but Abel said that that was extremely rare.

Fabulous dive experience! Super personable! Definitely recommend them!!! We did a quick refresher and then a two tank dive. Catherine is an amazing dive master!

They're the best at what they do! There's several dive shops in Mahahual, but Catherine and Abel do it right. Highly recommend for diving, snorkeling, or whatever your heart desires!

I went diving with Gypsea Divers in June 2018 - two years late but I was thinking how I always meant to write a review! Catherine was an awesome dive master, great personality and made diving really fun. Really cool spots at this beach, could see lots of turtles. Hope to come back there some day and get my Advanced open water cert. Thank you!!!

Had an amazing time with Gala and Gypsea divers. First they had a prescription mask which was essential. Then because it was low season it was just me and gala (the dive master) on my dive so I go a great one on one dive. We saw turtles, rays and lobsters. Such a friendly, warm and positive diving experience. I really had fun.

Loved our trip. We had 8 of us for snorkeling and they were very accommodating. Could not have asked for a better experience. Very laid back and friendly. Booking was easy and she was quite responsive. Looks a little unassuming from the outside, but that doesn't matter. Would definitely go again if I ever make it back.

Our family was fortunate enough to be able to do a sea turtle adventure with Gypsea Divers this past November 2018. Catherine and her staff were outstanding to say the least!!! We were a group of eight, ages 60 to 1 1/2 years old. Such great attention to everyone's needs, abilities and desires. I cannot say enough about how positive dealing with all of them was! Great location, best service and wonderful experience. It was great to stop by last week to say hello..same great people..same great smiles!!!
