If I could give it a negative I would. How would you like to end your vacation with money stolen out of your room! When you have to spend so much money around the resort. 940 dollars to be exactly on the day before we leave I felt as me and my husband was targeted and watch and right on the day before we leave 940 goes missing and it’s takes 72 hours for the case to be resolved. And if you know like I know once you leave nobody really cares to find out the truth!! I’m a human just like everyone else and feels like race should not play a card but did have something to do with it. You would think how lovely the resort is they would have cameras on each floor I was told they are not. The resort is lovely but if you want to feel safe this is not the place for your family, room doors would open with out a knock while we would be in the bed, we did get relaxed the last day because we where going home never would I thought a day to the beach for souvenirs would end like this. After they drill you to death to invest in a company I wouldn’t waste my money!! Only way I will come back is if they find our money and apologize for ruining our trip. And then it still would be on the consideration list. Please BEWARE THIS IS NOT A SAFE RESORT!

Excellent stay!!!!!!! We booked this hotel for a room block that was part of a wedding we were attending. I absolutely loved this resort. Very clean, so many things to do, employees are at your service. Friendly staff and ATTENTIVE staff. I must mention Pedro who drives the shuttle he gave us helpful information and the greatest assistance! Housekeeping, shuttle drivers, valet, concierge, front desk, gardeners, pool attendants, and bartenders did outstanding!!!!! The place is definitely worth the money I was left in awe. Beautiful resort. My favorite is the happy hour from 11-3 then 5-6 by the pool!!!!! I am so amazed at this resort I have traveled to so many and this one is by far the best. Vidanta exceeded my expectations. 10/10

The resort surely is a little slice of paradise. In total it has beautiful views, great transportation, and a myriad of excellent entertainment, food, and drink. Even with a full week you might not see it all. I think this is a great home base for excusions into the surrounding area, but also a great option if you just want to be at the resort for all your time. Some of the allegations I found in other reviews are that you are treated unfairly if you stay at one of the cheaper hotels and that you are pressured to stay at the resort. I found both of these to not be true. I didn't feel singled out based on my hotel choice. Other than the large land area there are no hurdles to leaving the resort, either. Taxi and cart access are easy. Walking about may be taxing for some, but if you are in good health and like to explore, the property makes for some perfect walks at any time of day. One that I believe is true is that you may get pressured into a sales pitch for membership. Just don't do it and you won't be bothered again. Also beware of other hotel reps at the airport who will waste your time and money trying to steal you away to their resort. It was a little more expensive than I hoped as there are zero included meals and everything is more expensive than market prices. So have a plan to save some money by acquiring groceries or going outside the resort for meals. There are such places just north of the resort by a marina that can serve this purpose. I ate about two meals here per day and it was 275 per week per person. Would definitely choose Vidanta again here or another location.

Facilities are beautiful, before I experienced their sales pitch I would have considered staying at this resort but sales team tried way too hard to convince us to buy their membership, Monica our sales representative was very understanding and was ready to release us to freedom when we told her were not interested, but then her manager came in and tried to convince us, we said no, then they sent another guy with a “better” offer, we once again said no, when we thought it was over the “marketing” representative that was only supposed to ask us exit questions tried to sell us the membership one more time we said no, at the travel agency when we were getting the complimentary tickets as a thank you for our time, they again tried to sell us some sort of vacation deal at that point I was fed up and just wanted to leave, after all that I was expecting the valet parking person to try and sell us something too.. a presentation that was supposed to last only 60 minutes lasted 3.5 hours please do not fall for the lie of “ it’s just a free breakfast, and we will thank you for your time, it only lasts 60 minutes, LIES, STAY AWAY FROM VIDANTA SALES TRAP..

Beautiful oasis, once you are inside the resort. Lots of pools, lazy river, wave pool and water slide. Great for families with kids or without. For the adults there are the swim to bars and for the kids there is a special play area. Rooms are great with a small dipping pool. With many restaurants and bars this is the place if you just want to relax. Flip side is this resort is huge and it takes awhile getting in and out of the resort (\u003e20m). Once you are dropped off at the transfer station you take a local golf car train to your hotel. Checking in and out can take a long time 30m-90m...so be prepared

What a beautiful destination wedding! I had the honor of photographing a wedding at the amazing Vidanta - The Grand Mayan Nuevo Vallarta and it was wonderful! The scenery was a perfect backdrop for the ceremony and reception as well as the photos. The guest had sucha wonderful time, and the food was amazing!

Beautiful, well kept, clean and safe resort and surrounding areas. Absolutely fantastic. Rooms are tended to multiple times a day. Food is phenomenal. Staff are the best, very considerate and helpful. Our floor concierge, Miroslaba was perfect. She took very good care of us. The pool and bar staff always made sure we had everything we needed. There are staff with hats that direct you everywhere and shuttles for rides anywhere in the resort. The resort is huge, you would need more than a week to see a small portion. The pools are nice, lazy river, kiddie pools and wave pool. The beach is wonderful and well kept. You can even walk safely into the marina. We will be back
