Fine homemade and well sticking to the German Recipe. I was in town for a few days and of course heard of this store in Town. Being from Germany and wanting some German food again is something as I seek in any German store as I haven’t returned for almost half a decade. Somehow my expectations were different compared to his offerings. Anyhow we got the chance to talk with the owner and things got resolved. Was a big misunderstanding but I’m glad he took my comments on Facebook as constructive If I have a recommendation and before I even get the chance to come back: Simply print a second Menu card out called: “Menu Alemana de Alemania para Alemanes y fanaticos” simply for the German who wants to eat German cuisine again or the local for its taste and interest or the one kid who needs something for his school project the coming days. And put on the list the real 100% German dishes that are offered in Germany like warm Leberkäse, Bratwurst on a Bun, Currywurst with fries, Weisswurst and some German food that are 100% the German way and served everyday in Germany. Plus do some Polls and questionnaires to get to know what your costumers would love to see. Like on Facebook or make a white board saying “let us know what you want from us to do better” I’m pretty sure it doesn’t and let’s every consumer know that they can express their interest better compared to someone having to figure it out.

Got deli food to go, twice. Very respectable prosciutto. Irreproachable blue cheese. We enjoyed a hearty seeded bread loaf. They have some red sausages they call Spanish Chorizo (chorizo español?) that are simply incredible, amazing! Also, prices are very fair for what you get.

If you want a real taste of German flair while also being able to sip horchata with it this is the place to go. If you didn't think you needed this you are wrong. Seriously, no tourists around, amazing sandwiches with a legit meat locker. The gentleman explained the whole menu to us and took the time to answer questions. The sausage sandwich was incredible. The mustard a nice creamy yellow and hint of heat. The bread was soft with a nice crunch on the crust. Reasonable prices and serious effort was put into nodding in the direction of German cuisine. Thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and kind people running the joint!
