YUMMY, DELICIOUS, CRAFTY, EDIBLE ART, SPANISH TRADITION These would be a few of the #hashtags I would use if I was posting this on Instagram. I can remember eating these almond treats over 20 years ago. They have kept the high quality and recipe to deliver a tasty treat. This location in particular holds the element of nostalgia since it is their oldest (not to mention it is in the heart of Downtown Mexico City - giving you access to many other sights, restaurants, churches, and things to see/do). Be prepared to spend a little more than on a candy-bar or treat you'd typically see on the street though. These are not necessarily cheap, but given the quality of ingredients they use, I'm totally fine to pay the premium (the main ingredient: Almonds). Pictured below ((marzipan and Turron) is just a small example of the variety offered.

Chocolate ok. Rest was dry ( perhaps cause Sunday afternoon?) & very overpriced. Not sure why so highly recommended.
