I recently had my truck painted at Alan's shop. I got rear ended and needed to fix the damage but I thought I would see what I could get down in Tijuana for the insurance check. I called a few shops but Alan was easiest to deal with and he speaks either Spanish or English. He also emails which is important for communicating from San Diego. I emailed some photos of my truck and told him that I wanted the whole truck painted with bedliner coat and a re-upholstered bench seat. I was happy with estimate that I got so I decided to take a trip down to check out the shop. I took it down one weekend and the shop was nice enough. He said that it would take two weeks and he was right on. He sent photos through email of the truck in process, too. Upon pick-up, I was pleasantly surprised that he went ahead and painted my ugly rims and rusty windshield wiper arms! I am so happy with my new truck. The panels look straight and clean. There are a few nit-picky things I noticed in the paint when I cleaned it this weekend but nothing too bad. Maybe The new bench seat is beautiful and way more comfortable. Overall, I would recommend this shop to my friends and family who want to fix up an older car. In fact, a co-worker is already planning a visit!

I can not speak highly enough of Adan and the staff of skilled professionals at Maya Body Shop. My 2001 Newmar Dutch Star had less than 90,000 miles, was mechanically sound but looked very shabby due to severely oxidized paint and decals. For several years I priced out full body paint in the US and finally came to the conclusion I would never be able to afford the 35 - 40,000 dollar tab. Then a friend in Idaho mentioned he had heard good things from other car enthusiasts about Maya. I was skeptical but reached out anyway. I received an immediate reply and over a period of 3 months wrote and called Adan several times. On each occasion he answered my questions and provided reassurance. When it finally came time to drive my coach from Albuquerque to Tijuana, most everyone I knew, including my family had serious reservations about my decision. The obvious concern was for my safety. But secondarily most everyone felt that the quality of work would be poor. I am thrilled to report that my experience was EXCEPTIONAL! Adan arranged shuttle and escort service between his shop and port of entry and even treated my wife and me to a delicious dinner while we waited for the final touch ups to be done. He simply couldn’t have been more courteous or accommodating. For a fraction of what I would have paid in the US I got fabulous body work and paint. AND, I got my coach back in TWO WEEKS rather than two months. Maya is the REAL DEAL!

Drove down from LA to TJ for body/paint service on 2006 GMC Sierra truck. Never knowing what to expect I drove into Maya, was given a very reasonable estimate, picked up the truck the next day and was blown away by the quality of workmanship -two thumbs up!
