It’s not the most beautiful beach you will ever see and the water is quite dirty, but it’s one of the few public places by the seaside in Cancun and the locals actually take good care of it. They are very friendly, offer you a sun bed for free (or a small tip) and it’s overall a very chill place for travelers on a low budget.

Cancun is a beautiful place. Full of things I'd love to explore. We got on the blue diamond tour here and it was beautiful. There was a lot of algae and seaweed but that's ok. My issue and not why 5 stars is that they closed the bathrooms down at 5pm on the beach. I was just on an hour boat ride back and I had to travel another hour back to our resort. Not good. The staff sat there and wouldn't open the bathrooms despite our pleas.

Best place to ride a boat to Isla Mujeres. Perfect landscape

We made a quick stop here on our way to Isla Mujeres. Bathrooms were outdated and there was no toilet paper so be prepared. The views were nice and the people were even nicer. It wouldn't be ny first stop for a beach visit but if you're just passing through o your way to somewhere else its tolerable.
