Pepe’s was all that and more. Vanessa, her partner and their whole dive team went above and beyond for our diving experience. I couldn’t recommend them enough. They were thorough, professional and treated us like family. I would go back to Pepe’s in a heart beat for any diving experience. I can’t say enough about their quality.

We were in Mahahual first time, and only 3 out 5 of us wanted to dive. When we met the team all of us ended joining the experience, diving and snorkeling!.The gear, equipment and the boat are great and our instructor took good care of us. 100% recommendable!

Very bad experience, unfortunately (May 2018.. Took me a while to get around to writing this). Broken/old equipment; dive master (jimmy) twice giving me the wrong size vest even though the size I requested was on the boat (first an XL then an XS, when i asked for a M); jimmy also lied about being willing to spear lionfish with us saying he "forgot the spear" in the boat both times instead of having the balls to have a transparent discussion about his concerns that we didn't have enough dive experience (which was revealed totally after the fact when we were being charged for bad equipment that got lost). Taught me to be more discerning and not so trusting of divemasters with my life

Chano and Vanessa and their wonderful staff ru a fun & first class dive op. I stayed a month in their villa "Casa la Vienta" and had a great time. I did 40 dives and enjoyed their staff. Thei boat "La Gran Kraken" has been recently refurbished/repowered and is one of the best in Mahahual. Their rental gear is good too. Highly recommend!!
