From a photo provided by my sister, the B&G Atelier team of Merida created custom sandals for my big flat feet in less than three days! That meant I could wear the comfortable, eye-catching sandals the next day during my weekend trip to Mexico City. More important than their great competence, the B&G Atelier team members are warm and caring. Go to B&G Atelier for a rare experience: caring, competence, and comfort together! Why, they even helped make my old straw sombrero more functional!

Amazing shop/museum/workshop, where you can experience first hand the beauty of how shoes are made by hand. Alicia the owner is always there to talk to, and she is a passionate shoemaker and artist. My wife bought a pair of sandals that after one year of heavy use are still perfect (well a few scratches ), and she can't wait to go back to Merida and buy another pair. I highly recommend B & G Atelier.

Beautiful hand crafted leather shoes and other leather goods. You can also find the most gorgeous hand made jewelry by Rosa Maria Garduza of Caravana joyeria. If you like beautifully handcrafted, different things this is you place!

Has beautiful, wonderful things. Smells like leather. Nothing big enough for my gringa foot.
