By far the nicest most secluded area on this coast line. I have been up and down this area a few time. It is magic all the way along. But this place is special. Super Chilled out. Amazing rental homes for the prices. People complain of bugs but they were no different for us than we have seen in Punta de Mita. It is off the beaten track but don't let that stop you. There is nothing big resort about this.. Great local people who are hired for super cheap to cook. 30 a day for your meals.. Bring your drinks and your favorite things like you are headed to the cabin at the lake for a week and you are off to paradise. We rented a vehicle and traveled around the area. But really there is not need to leave the place so getting the shuttle would work too. Unless you want to check out some real mexico in San Blas and Tepic which is worth it. I have read the reviews on here and the negative ones are about the beach side restaurants on the beach at Platanitos which is around the corner.. This place is beyond magic if you want to get away from the Resorts, but still have the comforts and someone cook and clean for you.... We will go back!! Oh don't forget to take a day of horse back riding, help let the baby turtles go, head out surfing, go fishing or paddle up the estuary... Its all there..

Kelly amd Pascual were great. The Villa was exactly as promised and even more. Service was delightful and prompt. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful place, isolated with tons of bugs. Mosquito paradise, the closest town or sign of civilization it's 40 mins away by car so bring tons of food and repellent

Let me tell you why it's a 2 star, BECAUSE...First off the water was beautiful and clear and so amazing, second you get free fajitas and it was cheap buuttt, THEY WILL STEAL! They stole our wallets. How rude and then they say "sorry folks this is our first time it's ever happened" yeah right! Who is going to believe them. Second we paid the 20 packet for massages and everything we asked "we can get it at whatever time we want?" They said "yes" we went at 4, THEY WERE CLOSED!!! they said at whatever time right! Frkn liars! The service now... When they brought us our plates we all said "Thank you" they just ignored us . We complained about the wallets we wanted to speak with the boss and everyone . The second we left ... They called the cops ... And more from there. I'm just so disappointed in what happened ! Never going back and we will never recommend this to anyone we know ! End of story !

Great place to rest, completely separated from civilization though, so bring lots of food or expect to pay 35 USD per adult. There is WiFi in the houses, cellphone coverage is limited.
