There is a BUNCH of info about how and when to get here. The station is open Monday through Saturday 9-5:30p to buy tickets a half hour lunch break at 2:30. Saturday they close at 11am. People here are very friendly, and helpful. They take Pesos and or Credit Card. Did not have any issues buying our tickets, A DAY BEFORE we left.

Beautiful train ride. We started in Los Mochis and rode to Creel. I think I might suggest starting in Fuente and shortening the trip as this last leg was slow and not as scenic.

I haven't even been on the train but I've had the greatest difficulty in trying to buy a ticket, find out where to buy a ticket, when an office is open etc etc that I give this poor review. And the website is Spanish only. I'm having a dreadful experience.

A slow but beautiful train ride into the Chihuahua mountains of copper canyon. Long trip but worth doing once.

Esta bonita la estación, tiene varias bancas donde te puedes quedar en lo que esperas para abordar el tren, ahí mismo puedes adquirir los boletos pero debes consultar los horarios ya que estos varían dependiendo la temporada. Si te hospedas en el centro de los mochis es muy fácil conseguir taxi, yo tome la opción de hablar a radio taxi , y de ahí no es tardado el trayecto. Unos decían que no recomiendan ir desde los mpvhis hasta creel, y que te subas en el fuerte, pero en lo personal a mi si me gustó, es cuestión de gustos, es verdad que aun no hay montañas en ese trayecto, pero yo siempre he disfrutado de los paisajes, cualquiera que decidas se que te va a gustar por que viajar en el chepe es una experiencia maravillosa.

El viaje en todos sus trayectos desde los Mochis hasta Creel excelente, el servicio del personal y las comidas y snacks en primera clase son deliciosos. Es una experiencia que vale la pena repetir.
