I won't be back - I bought 10' of 3/8 hose there, only to realise after I got out of the shop and checked my receipt that they had sold me 1/2". Went back in, two minutes after I left and they refused to trade it or take it back. What a waste of 40 CAD They have a good selection of parts, though pricey compared to others in town.

There are only a few chandleries in la Paz and Lopez is one. Each has a limited selection but we appreciate them all.

Knowledgeable and helpful sales reps, nice people, a little bit expensive but totally worth it since they only sell quality stuff. They also have a dog!!!!!!

Large selection of parts commonly needed by cruising boats, though prices are higher than the other stores in La Paz. Staff are very helpful and speak English.

Very nice to work with. Employees speak fluent English and can get by in some other languages. They have a lot and can order what they don't have.

What a jack stick! I came in elated that they were selling a 12v pump so I could send water from my small water tank to my sink about 4 feet away. I purchased a small water pump, hesitant that it could do the job, but was assured it would be adequate. I inquired about a filter but was told it wasn't necessary. Should have been throwing red flags up but was desperate as this type of stuff is hard to find in Baja. I got home and realized the salesperson sold me the wrong size hosing for the pump. I had some extra hose though, so got it all installed as per the instructions (I've done this before, mind you). The pump couldn't send water the entire way through my sink. I'm literally talking about pulling out of a tank that's two feet away and two feet higher, and then pumping it another 2.5 feet to the sink. Took five minutes for the water to get even 80% of the way. I take it back the next day asking if they have a stronger one and this pile of frijoles on a chair starts talking to me like instead of me being a customer I'm some snot he found under his wobbly chair. Seriously, I've never had such a terrible experience with someone in my life. I walked out more than dissatisfied. This man will likely not live many more years given the way he takes care of himself, and the business will not either considering how he treats his customers.
