Really cool hostel close to the beach and center of town . The staff was incredible. One of the people I was traveling with got sick and the staff did everything in their power to make him feel better. They even came to his room with a cup of tea. This isn't a luxurious place but the hospitality certainly makes up for it .5 stars easy , would return.

A lovely and fairly cheap hostel in Sayulita. It's a five minute walk to the beach and a five minute walk to anywhere else in town. The propietario was very kind and accommodating and the hostel was very colorful and well-decorated. We didn't have A/C in our room (although I believe it's in other rooms) but we did have a fan. We had WiFi as well. Would recommend.
One of the cheapest private room prices around, which I still found expensive for the unfinished room I was given. Workers were finishing the ceiling and I could still smell the paint during the first night. Cleaning could use some improvement, since when I got to my room there was still dust from the works, shower drain with hair (as the ones around the hostel, where all the dirt is swiped to and it's not picked up), and the toilet seat had to be cleaned again as well. Kitchen is really small and with very few cooking utensils, making it hard to properly cook there. There wasn't any hand sanitizer around when I got there, being placed 2 days after I asked for it. In general an ok experience, because the staff was nice and the beautiful decoration around.

There's a camera in the room facing the bed. I find the strange we had to cover it to make sure we had privacy

I think that the room was too expensive for what I received. The room did not even have windows. It was just a little room the main door, a little bed, a bathroom without door and a fan, it was terrible be the night there, it was too hot. The building in general was nice and I think they have other better options in this place, but at least the room that I had was terrible.
Close to the beach (2 minute walk, for the quieter part of the beach, 5-10 min walk to the main beach area). They have a kitchen you can use. Stayed 2 nights w/ our 3yo, he enjoyed it too.
