Incredible breakfast menu, made by local Oaxacan cooks. Worth the drive from Oaxaca City.

It was a shame that the food sucked. We had high expectations because we loved the chef’s Casa Oaxaca in centro. My husband is a Mexican citizen from Oaxaca and he was disappointed too. I had the ribs (costilla) which had two tiny bites of meat on one bone. The other bone was all fat. The third bone was just a bone. It was in a very small bowl of broth that was just ok. I sent it back and asked for chiliquiles. They were ok. My cafe de olla was almost cold. The appetizers were basic. A big disappointment. A bit of a drive out of the city but we like adventures. We found many things to do in neighboring cities so the day was not lost. From 10am to 1 it is a different menu. After 1 they serve Birria which I would hope is better. Oh and the pan dulce was good.

La comida y bebidas son muy buenas. La atencion excelente. Para los turistas es un excelente lugar. Para los locales considero que sus precios son elevados. Ya que, lo que la comida la puedes encontrar en lugares cercanos al lugar y mucho mas barato. Pero bueno en el precio va incluido el servicio y el lugar que esta increíble.

Una experiencia agradable con temática de degustación y eliges que platillos son más de tu agrado para repetir. El lugar es muy agradable, el servicio es muy amable y accesible aunque insuficiente en grupos ligeramente grandes. Pero me gustó mucho ️
