Great big boat! This was a comfortable and smooth ride to Espiritu Santo island. We snorkeled with the sea lions and got the up close experience! It is worth the extra dollars for kind and friendly guides, delicious food, solid snorkeling and wet suit equipment, and the nice big boat! Thank you!

What a fantastic experience!! I highly recommend this company. Their staff are very well trained and interested in doing a good job. We are 2 seniors with limited swimming ability. Alejandro was great and pulled my wife along so she could get a good view of 2 whale sharks. The boatride was smooth. There were plenty of snacks, drinks and fruit. Instructions were given clearly. One caution: although it says this tour is 2-1/2 hours, that is the actual time in the sharks’ protected zone. It can take much longer as only a certain number of boats are allowed in the area at a time. Our total time was 11am-4pm. Also, if you can, check the marine weather forecast online and pick a day with less wind and waves.

My family of 5 did a 3 hour swim with the whale shark experience on April 4, 2019. We went on the Sea Star catamaran boat for about 3 hours. Alex and the boat captain were very professional and gave us an excellent experience. My 7 year old daughter and 10 year old son were each able to each get a good experience swimming alongside these majestic fish. They are both excellent swimmers for their age and that is important as the speed of the whale sharks does vary and are not always just lumbering along. You don't have to be a super swimmer for this experience but the better the swimmer you are the better your experience will be. I would go back to SunRider in a heartbeat. They were very respectful of the guests and promoted the importance of conservation of these fish. Our guide was even helping other boats locate and swim with the whale sharks. SunRider will provide all equipment if needed including wetsuits, and snorkel gear. Make sure to let them know if you need gear before you leave the shop as they do not have extra on the boat. We had all of our own snorkel gear but did use their wetsuits. After the swimming experience they provided a snack/beverage (banana or bag of chips, and a soda, water or beer). Very enjoyable experience that provided life long memories for my family - Thank you SunRider!

Great way to visit the whale sharks. The snorkel guide and boat crew were awesome. If you're in Cabo, definitely drive there on your own. It will save you 100 per person. There are other smaller/private boats sitting across the street that will take you for roughly 500 pesos, but they were smaller boats with no shade. They also stayed clustered with the other boats, where our boat went further out to find whale sharks that weren't surrounded by boats. Our cost was 70/person. The wet suits were a little ran down and I wish they the would have given us long sleeved wet suits, as there were tiny jellyfish that were stinging us. The boat crew did offer jelly sting relief cream. The juice was definitely worth the squeeze.

great professionalism: great organization, save for the tourist and respectful of the animal. 5 stars for captain Nemo and in particular for Alex, the guide!

We had a great trip out to Espírito Santu, we stopped to for a very short dive with whale sharks then on to snorkel with sea lions. As someone who gets seasick pretty easily, I was very happy with the stability of the boat and smooth ride both ways. After getting in the water with the whale sharks, we had an almost hour-long ride out to the sea lions, which was very cold due to the wind. I wish They had told us that was coming, maybe advised us to bring a sweatshirt and change out of the wet suit to get warm. It also would've been nice to have some local knowledge of fishing, species, geology, or any natural history. All in all, met our needs but I'm not sure we got many benefits for the price.

This is the best way to snorkel with whale sharks in La Paz. They have a professional guides, a covered boat, wetsuits, and a decent snorkel and fins.

Whale shark tours with them. They did an extra dive so my little one could get a good look.
