Pet FRIeNDly resort! Awesome place, great hotel for the money, staff was great and made us feel like home, we didn’t get to stay in the Cabanas, but the room we had was big, clean, great view, seconds from the beach, Check-in was simple, continental breakfast is good, pool and area amazingly clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately we didn’t have the best experience at this place... the only two pros were: location and the most friendly and helpful staff. The rest was far from what we expected: rooms were outdated, towels felt dirty, the „patio” that was part of our tiny house didnt look inviting at all. To make it worse, the guests from other houses and rooms would sit outside until like 4am and there was nobody there (receptionist, security) to report it to. We had a few interrupted nights. One day we did not get breakfast (although it was included in price) because the cook didn’t show up. No safety measures given the current Covid situation. The name „Butique” should not be apart of this facility’s name either... We were very disappointed - one of the worst hotel experiences...

If you are looking to be pampered Isabella is not for you. But if you are looking for a quiet stay, close to the beach, clean accommodations with kind staff, you will enjoy La Isabella.

If I could give a zero I would. Based on pics we booked an ocean view deluxe. However, when we decided to walk by the hotel before our stay we quickly realized the pics didn't really tell a good story. Within 3 hours of booking we were trying to cancel with hotels.com. It took 3 days for Hotels.com to even get the hotel to answer and then they refused to provide a refund.the email we got said we could cancel up to the 19th, however I booked the room on the 22nd. I'm now disputing the charge via my credit card.

This was the worst hotel we have ever been in our life. I don’t know if they have been closed due to COVID but they reopened without condition. Old towels, dirty rooms, old and dirty furniture, NO WI-FI working, breakfast wasn’t available every day and to make it worst, I saw a Giant RAT outside my room. DONT GO!

My partner and I stayed at Isabella in July 2019. It was great! The cabanas are very cute, have good air conditioning and private patios with chairs and outdoor showers. The hotel has a small restaurant and bar, as well as a small pool. They had live music a few nights per week and the staff was incredibly nice. The hotel is steps from the beach (it is not on the beach, but they have a deal with a beach club just a couple houses down on the same street). It is a fairly easy 1 mile walk from the ferry to cozumel (you walk through pedestrian shopping areas mostly to get there). The algae was making problems for the beach nearby at the time of year we went, so we mostly headed over to cozumel for our beach time. But we plan to come back because it was so nice and a good deal!
