My review is to only cover one thing. You won’t be able to sleep. The music at the bar below plays until 3:30am-7:30am. This is not music that you can stop with ear plugs. It’s real, real loud. I’m generally staying in hostels and used to minimal accommodations but this is 100% unreasonable unless you are going to be out all night. The only reason it has a 2 star is because it’s by the beach/town.

The location is the absolute best. It's right on the beach and just a few yards away from the town square. If you like it simple, but clean and truely beautiful this is the place for you. The terrace invites for lounging with a breathtaking view.
I will come back and stay at Vista Ocena for sure. Service is great, thank to Joann who was the best host and received me, my partner and my dog with a big smile. Make sure you spend some time at the rooftop cause there is an amazing view. The hotel is just steps away from the beach and a block away form the main plaza which makes it very convenient. Just beware it is right in the middle of the noisy area and you can find it difficult to sleep.
The location was absolutely fantastic. Above a great surf school and a cute little cocktail bar. It could get VERY loud at night (especially on monday when its salsa dancing across the street). The rooms were clean. Bring some ear plugs and you'll be good.
Great location. Strong AC - which is necessary in this humid town! Amazing ocean view rooftop patio.
Great location. Could use better detail to room amenities like no wash cloths no beverage glasses. They also need a safety hand rail for the stairs.
Great location! Great location! Top rooftop terrace. Rooms are a bit poor tho. Super basic with loud airco and the staff wasnt very hospital. Would stay there again tjo, just for the location.
Awful shady management and very overpriced. Hotels all around it that are better priced, better quality, and friendly people working there.
