Friendly place in a great location. Thanks Augustin for keeping the place in such good condition, and to Alejandra and all at Reception. Everyone treats you as an old friend there. Will definitely be back. Very easy walk to the best parts of Mazatlan! Would have posted 5 stars but the communal room - which is super value, has a bathroom so small you can't change your mind in it. ; )

I stumbled onto this gem and I'm so glad I did. I took the very reasonably priced private room downstairs fo the convenience of rolling my touring bicycle into the room with me. The fully furnished kitchen upstairs was a wonderful plus. As was the free fresh fruit and homemade banana bread. And the people were incredible. Employees and guests alike. I couldn't be happier with my stay. Thank you.
Nice, spacious room. There is hot water - you just have to let it run. The kitchen terrace is a huge plus. No parking but they offered the lobby to park my bike in. Excellent location with just about everything I needed in walking distance.
This place is amazing because of its location and price. Its a couple minute walk to Old Mazatlan, and this place is very safe and secure which is very important to me. This hostel has very friendly staff, and offer free amenities such as towels, complimentary breakfast which the banana bread is amazing. The rooftop is magical at night and great place to chill and feel the nice ocean breeze and chill.

Amazing place, highly recommend. Great value for money in the old historic part of the city. Very close to the Malecon and the food market. The roof top is a good place to have a beer and chill. Have fun at Hostal Mazatlan guys
Okay hostel for the price. All rooms have AC. Hot showers. Water, coffee included and also banana bread for breakfast. A calm hostel, if you're looking for something active this is not the place for you.
