I have travelled to and from Oaxaca on this line. There have been a couple issues but they make up a small percentage compared to the overall experience. These are not fancy busses. They are perhaps the mules of the bus world. I count on them and just plan my trips over night so I can sleep and not feel the distance.

EUROPEANS DO NOT USE THEM. It's a cheap-price-cheap-quality local lines, you cannot rely on them and here is why: 1. All buses in awful conditions. Our first bus stopped for 2hour of reparation of motor in the middle of nowhere. Our second bus stopped 15 mins after we've left the station - it just couldn't move, I have no idea why don't they check their bus _before_ the travel. Part of chairs are broken too. 2. They lie to you. The departure time is different from what they say. The bus will be different. The bus will be not direct, in the middle of travel you have to change the bus. There will be no seat as to your ticket, tickets are mostly issued by hand without any system, which leads to total mess in the bus. 3. The bus may be cancelled easily. Ours was cancelled 10 mins before departure. We've got a replace bus to Oaxaca city (which is a halfway) leaving 3 hours later. asked to pay extra, had to explain that when the 565 peso bus is changed to 350 peso bus, I'm eligible for the refund. GOOD DRIVERS - they try the best they can, and are really nice. When our bus got \deadly broken\ they've chartered a private tourist bus (which was in good condition) that has brought us to the destination.
We have bought tickets via Internet on 6 am. Bus terminal was closed at 5 am. Driver has not allowed us to enter to the bus because we had no printed tickets. Pdf file from official website was not accepted. They have not allowed us to print them after we arrive to Oaxaca. The main problem is that ticket window was closed at 6 am. So there was no way to print it in Fipsa terminal. Bus has gone absolutely empty without passengers from Mexico DF bus station at 6 08, the ticket window had opened at 6 15. Luckily, young security guard had helped to open station for us (because staying outside in the night is not safe) and helped to change tickets to 7 am. So the problem is about organizing service but not about personnel. I hate this company for they disorder, abcense of client-oriented way of work, and do not recommend you to use their service.
