Ballam is an excellent tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about Mexico history and the arts. I took the Diego Rivera tour with him and was hooked. His depth of knowledge made the tour interesting, educational, fascinating and memorable. He is friendly and open to answering all questions. I highly recommend him and his company. I also took the city center tour with Paula who was also friendly, and knowledgeable. It's a good quick introduction to the center of the city. They also point out interesting spots, and restaurants one can go back to later. It's probably the best one in town. You'll recognize them by their Orange T-shirt or umbrella in front of Zocallo. Check their website. Both guides speak excellent English which makes it easy to understand and communicate.
