Full of strange and interesting things- though somewhat heretical undoubtedly. Wish I lived nearby so I could come back when the exhibits change. They also have an old movie theater that plays different films every week.

This was a nice museum we found, the historic aspect can’t be ignored. It used to be a old convent, you can see where some of the old pillars were. The convent used to extend out into the modern street. The exhibit we view was very emotional. The bathrooms are very clean as well.

It was free to go in. They have a second floor. Locals tell that before that main road existed that historical building was part of the structures that are across the street. There is a building on the corner of the street when you exit the art museum walk to the right on the sidewalk and you will see a statue of a man pushing a building. That building used to be located closer to the street. They did not want to demolish it because it's historical. So during the time they were building that main Street they decided the best way to preserve it was to just move it out of the way. They managed to move the building with heavy machinery to where it sits now. That is the meaning behind the statue According to locals. Regarding parking make sure you drive slowly and pay attention to the public parking entrances. I kept passing them because the driveways look smaller than what I'm used to. There are parking locations scattered all around the blocks. You have to pay for parking we payed about 35 pesos plus tip and it was for a valet parking located 3 blocks before the art museum. We enjoyed our walk after the museum. There are so many book stores and things to see.

Nice place to get a glimpse of local artist. Place also have a small movie theater but not so sure about schedule and capacity. Better go there to find that out. Location is very convenient to move around to other downtown landmarks. There are some handcraft goods being sell in the area. Good option to have a quiet chat in downtown.
